Alta Vista is just 8km from the center of Cebu city but is far away from the noise and rush of the streets. This course is located along the hills overlooking Cebu and is considered Cebu’s premier golf course.
Designed by the Black Knight Designing Company, Alta Vista is slightly short at 6,100 yards but it is famously known for it’s hilly mountain.
At times you have to play across ravines and cliff sides so a gentle rather than muscular touch is often required. The presence of lakes and waterfalls on some of the holes adds to the general excitement of playing this course.
This is a classic risk and reward course so bring plenty of balls as the challenges come thick and fast from the first hole onwards. The par 5′s provide some birdie opportunities but the par 3′s are often tricky.
Although only a relatively short course a golf cart is recommended for the less fit golfer due to the undulations of the course.
Cebu Country Club: The layout plays to a par 71. White sand traps are furnished with ground coral rock, adding to the contrast of the greenery. This 18-hole, championship course is the site of the PAL inter-club and important competitions of the Philippine Golf Circuit.
Cebu Country Club is located in the heart of the city with approximately 20 minutes drive from the Mactan airport. By private vehicle – a taxi or rent-a-car. However, jeepneys also ply this route.
One of the oldest clubs in the Philippines established in 1928.A private proprietary club, but open to guests and tourists.
Facilities

General Information
Often called the “ Queen City of the South” and the Seat of Christianity in the Philippines , Cebu is the country’s oldest city. Exploring Cebu City , one encounters a rich historic past. Cebuanos are extremely proud of their cultural and historical heritage, a legacy which has endured through the centuries from the time the great explorer Ferdinand Magellan first planted the cross on Cebu ‘s shore. Time has been kind to Cebu . From Zubu, the busy trading port in 1521, it has evolved into a highly urbanized metropolitan center which now serves as focal point of growth and development in Southern Philippines .
With its 6 cities; Cebu , Danao, Lapu-Lapu, Mandaue, Toledo and Talisay; and its 47 smaller towns, Cebu has more than kept pace with the nation’s progress. Today the island province leads in traditional and non-traditional exports and has the highest economic growth rate anywhere in the country. Likewise, recent indications pointed out that Cebu has become the country’s favorite tourist destination. In contrast to the bustling metropolis, the rest of Cebu ‘s 167 islets and islands are lined with idyllic white sandy beaches and pristine clear waters. Cebu has gained wide popularity for fantastic diving grounds evidenced by the proliferation of resorts which offer luxurious accommodations, excellent dive facilities and the services of competent dive masters and dive guides. Cebu ‘s strategic location makes it ideal for those who wish to travel to the other islands and provinces by plan, boat or bus. No place could be too far from Cebu.

Population/Language
Cebu Province has a total population of more than 3 million. Cebuano is the native tongue. While Filipino is commonly understood and spoken, the English language is widely used in business transactions and education. Weather
Cebu is best from December to May when the weather turns dry. It is coolest from December to February, hottest from March to May. Temperature can rise as high as 37°C in the summer. The rainy season begins in July bringing torrential downpours that would sometimes inhibit movement.
Located in the middle of Quezon City, the club is only 15 minutes away from Makati or Manila. The club is easily accessible, by all forms of transportation.
You don’t need to be a low handicapper to score well on the course but the par 68 has a lot of problems and tight driving holes to make up for what it lacks in distance.
The front nine tends to be more challenging where middle of the road players will find the most trouble. Water comes into play on almost every hole and you will need to be very wary of holes five and six where the pools can be very intimidating. The fifth is a very short dog-leg par-4 and two well-struck short irons can get you there in regulation if you can keep out of the huge hazard in front of the green. The sixth is an island green, the signature hole of Camp Aguinaldo Golf Course, that requires a well-struck middle iron off the tee.
You’ll need to bring your accurate iron play to bear on the back nine and if it deserts you, you’ll have to rely on your short game as five holes are likewise guarded by water. The thirteenth is a long par-3 with a big tree and two sand traps guarding the green and coming off with a par will be very acceptable. The eighteenth is a short par-5 that can easily be reached in two if you are able to avoid the trees on both sides of the fairway which will then offer a birdie opportunity to finish the round.
Veterans Golf Course Veterans Hospital
Mindanao Avenue, Quezon City
Veterans Golf Course -Look at what can happen to a big backyard. Built around the Veterans Memorial Medical Center , the Veterans Golf Course takes advantage of a lot of unused space around the hospital. It is one of the few remaining public courses in the metropolis and it caters mostly to middle-class golfers who have patronized the club since it was built in the 1960s.
The 5,758 Yards Par 72 course is relatively flat and much of the course length is due to a lot of holes that dogleg every which way possible. Where the doglegs fail to provide the challenge, water hazards have been constructed to force you to lay up and play safe. Kakawate trees line up many of its tight fairways. Small greens add to the challenge. If it is convenient golfing you have in mind and you cannot spend a whole day out of Metro Manila, then to the Veterans Golf Course it is
